Let's consider this blog to be "Season Two"

Of course, as with my other blog moves, I'll be reblogging some of my old entries from Tumblr.

But let us treat this blog as a new and, in a way, separate blog--the one that I actually will manage to update more regularly because all my other blogs are tied to the same account.

The 4 Paws Pet Project began as my own means of spreading awareness and information about pets, pet parenting, and a local organisation cum animal shelter the Philippine Animal Welfare Society. I had this idea that I can use my blog to help advertise the animals up for adoption, specifically, the shelter cats who get so little attention in general.

As I got deeper into physical volunteer work, I realised it wouldn't be that easy and that ultimately, there were other things that had to be given more attention aside from amping up the adoption advertising.

So I'll leave that to the other bloggers for now and concentrate on what I have learned and am learning so far about how to be a good pet parent.

The cast has changed slightly since my first Tumblr posts. Two cast members are no longer with our family; one was successfully adopted and the other is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge, most likely alongside the dozens of pets I have had over the years.

I chose today as the beginning for "Season Two" because it is the adoption day of one of my feline adoptees, Kazuhiko. You'll see him in the cast list page. ^_~

Meantime, I'm preparing my next series of entries. I've learned a lot in the time I was away that I want to share.

So this is my "Hello again!" entry. It is my hope that this will become a more regular, long-standing blog than my old one.
